Here is two pictures of 2 gas pumps "t-39 talls" that I just finished restoring and installing in Wetmore, Kansas for the Mayor up there. They are restoring the station and a 1940's car dealership next door. I was just finishing hanging the doors last night when the tornado sirens started going off... In the close up of the pumps if you look up at the right top corner you can see just how dark the sky was from the tornado’s coming in about 5 or 6pm. Nope they did not hit the station… Fun Fun! The station and the Chrysler / Plymouth dealership will both be museums. The owner is using original period photos to restore them both to the original specs. Here is an original picture of the two buildings - originally they wanted to restore it just like the photo with the t-36b but after seeing what I would have to charge for a restored 36b they opted for the 2 t-39's. http://www.mikezulu.com/plymouthdealer.jpg Travis E.
