This was my very first pump...
no big thing i Know...
but kind a funny I cought it !!!! :

Oneday i passed the area of a company who was servicing all kind of oil and gaspumps...
they were in the middle of loading the pump on a truck of a oldmetal collector...
I stopped very sharp turned around and asked if I could get it...
on 70.- $ they all agreed and i picked my first pump....

Yes...I know : IT`S A VERY UGLY ONE especially if you verify it with the stars of the past in the US...

But.....

WHEN I DID MY DRIVINGLICENSE AS A TEEN !!!!!
....IT WAS THE VERY FIRST I EVER USED .....
EVEN THE BRAND BP IS MATCHING....

reason enough for me to safe it from beeing junked......

I don't think that's a bad looking pump. I like the faceplate and the lighted Diesel ad glass.

Pretty neat find!

What matters is that it means something to you. I tend to like things from when I first began to drive also. Thats why I think 60s and 70's pumps are going to be popular someday. Guys from that era are going to have fond memories of when they were young and fuelish.
