Brian, I know what you mean, I tried everyway to get that nozzle to fit as you mentioned. St.Rod, Larry, recently got this nozzle also and his has a flexible end and he can make his fit like that. After I played with it for a few minutes I saw that the hook rested on the wood of the crank and one of the two pieces that make up the roller piece fits directly into a small hole in the nozzle rest. See if you can see it on my pic. There are guys that know a lot more than myself, maybe we can ask someone their opinion. Where are db and Jack?
Mick

Mick, Where is there ANY wood on an 850 ?
The only time you need to stuff the nozzle tip under the bonnet, is when it's raining or your locking the nozzle up for the night. During business hours, you would just hang it the quickest way. db

Hey Mick & Larry, nozzles look great on your 850's. I'm curious about flex spouts vs. solid curved spouts. Original literature for 850 pump says that nozzle "is equipped with a solid brass tube", which yours has Mick, but I've seen many with flex spout like Larry's. Do you suppose both were used by Tokheim? Just curious, Sam

Hi Sam, I would think with the pump having been made for 10 years and repairs and replacements there were various nozzles used. Below is how I will display the nozzle on my pump, thanks, Morgan and Larry. I will replace the bolt with a padlock. Mick [This message has been edited by aquartlow (edited 10-11-2007).]

I LIKE THE BOLT ! EASIER TO STEAL GAS or the NOZZLE!
I think your nozzle is sitting the correct way for [your SQ pump]Lock-up. Just makes more sense, also holds the on/off switch in off position when locked, nozzle would have to be removed to start pump. Larry's is a round pump, notice where the bottom bracket is on other half of skin. db
