The only thing I can say is that the gromet holes are NOT in the right spot. There has been alot of talk of these signs being fake but who knows. I know the porcelain ones have the holes above the "G" and "E" of genuine. Not in between the letters. Most all are marked "Property of Ford Motor Company" at top and "Verbrite sign Co" at the bottom. That is on the porcelain ones. I know, because I have one. The painted ones though, who knows. Maybe someone with more knowledge can chim in.
