I think you're on to this one. I believe the genuine Conoco signs are 25 inches in diameter (not 24) and double-sided.

Take a good look at some of the pictures on COTM for Conoco this month, that Hemibird posted of the 25" minuteman signs,, Not much detail in the one on Ebay.. I have never seen a 24" or single sided sign like this? I would pass.
