Probably a question for Jim ...If I type in the ebay search box at the top of this page and bid on something, does the site get a cut, or do I have to click on "Click here for Most Watched Gas and Oil Items"? Also, does the site get a cut if I bid on something other than gas an oil stuff if I link one of the two ways?

The way I understand it,
by using ANY of the ebay search boxes at top or bottom of any page, oldgas will get a fee IF YOU WIN ANY item.
When searching & you find an item you want to bid on, COPY the #, bring up oldgas, PASTE in the #, then bid. IF you win, oldgas WINS a fee.

That is pretty much the way it works. Oldgas.com only gets a commission for a referral that is the winning bid. All bids from our search boxes and "eBay right now" links are appreciated. The small commissions add up to pay the expenses to keep this site going.

Jim : I see no reason why I shouldnt bid on everything through here then. My son and his electronic gizmo purchases will probably contribute more to the site than my globe purchases. Maybe you should encourage the members to ask their spouses and kids to bid through the site and bring in a little extra ching.
