When you look at a collection of globes and a guy has $200 globes and $10,000 globes and he is selling them in 1 lot you don't price them at $500 each. You have to look very carefully at each piece and see what's there. He has some very nice pieces in there! If i had the money i would really think about buying them. There are some $20 shakers and some $1000+ shakers there. ------------------ Check out GASNSHAKERS.COM E-mail me at petronut@aol.com [This message has been edited by Jarvis (edited 01-10-2007).]

...sigh...I stand by my math - it's an average of $260/set...and precious little bang for your buck, at that...

Jarvis, In your opinion, how many sets are in there worth over 500.00? My eyes are bad, I can only identify some of the brands.

Kim, I will give my thought of what i think i can make out from the small picture. There are over 188 versions of shakers known so it makes it hard to tell which is which. I would guess around (8) sets that are $500+ and (28) around $200 or more. He is at the high price for them that's for sure. This is what makes shakers hard to buy at times because it's hard to tell which ones are worth what. If i don't have a set i will pay real good money for them. I have around 80 sets so i am still looking for about 100 sets. LOL Anyone have some they want to sell? ------------------ Check out GASNSHAKERS.COM E-mail me at petronut@aol.com
