Scott...I have noticed many harder to find quarts on Ebay lately..many bringing high prices. 1600 bucks is the most I've seen a quart can go for,,,although perhaps some private deals have surpassed that...Ron...always looking for Speedway containers.

Condition is everything, and that quart had it. I think it was worth every penny.

Here is my 2 cents. Fred Stoke paid $1600 for this same can 5 years ago when cans were up. Personally I would not have paid more than 1K as that would be my max. value today. The Polly Prem should have brought more I would think. About $1200 in my opinion. What the hell do I know. Ted

Ted, I went and looked, and 3 people bid more than the 1000 you were willing to pay. I am the same way though, it is only worth to YOU what you are willing to pay and feel comfortable with. Sometimes you get it, and sometimes you don't. And I thought the price of globes were high! Cans look like they are going up for the good ones.

Roger you are right. Set your price and hold to it. There is another nice Polly Prem on ebay but not as nice as the one that sold and his bidding start at 1K with a buy it now feature. I would not go higher than $700 onthat one. Just me.
Picture cans and nice ones are holding there own. Keep them heading up.
