I us rlcarriers.com to ship large signs and have found them very cheap. I can ship a six foot sign for $75-125

Powerlube, After seeing your post, I emailed rlcarriers to see what they'd charge to ship a Bowser 557 door from Ind. to Calif. $160.00 ! That's the same price as DHL wanted. I did get it shipped via greyhound for $60. (thanks D.B.)

Glad it worked for you Don.
I have had LOTS of parts shipped by BUS, especially items that U.P.S., DHL or FedEx want $$$. Or so I don't have to drive to a Forward Air terminal in L.A.

I use Grayhound alot for shipping signs. But a 6ft sign is to big for the bus. So another route will have to be done for that.

Don- your rate must have included the residental pickup and delivery surcharge of $30 each. They have minimun charges of $75 so I would only use them for large items. I was happy with them, I am using them to ship a crated cookie cutter for $130 door to door.

The greyhound limit is around 100 inches total if I can remember right. length x width
