These signs were given to the Bowser authorized repair people, usually only one in a large area, so you can see how rare these are. I doubt they gave away more than 20 per state. Plus to find one that looks like it was never hung is a great find. I have seen square Bowser signs, but never one like this. I collect gas pump company memoribilia and would like to add it to my collection.

With the use of the word "Petrol" was it possible this sign was used outside the USA?

The "DOG" also has a Pan-Am "colored" restroom sign.

Is any one making porcelain signs that could do it in porcelain....That would be extra sweet....I can supply the graphics... but is there a big enough demand to make it.
I know I would buy at least two myself. But some of the big repro sign sellers might take a bunch.
I don't know who all is capable of reproducing some of this stuff.
I just know...I WANT ONE !!!!!WWAAAAHHHHH!!!

Joe:

You could contact Vintage Concepts. They do small limited edition porcelain signs. I know they do have a minimum order - but it might not be too expensive.

Later . . .

If you guys would take it as a single-sided wall-hanger instead of a flange, it would could be done for really cheap. Just the oval part is a 3-color. I would say we could make a 100 of them for under $25/each including art set-up & screens.

I would pay more for a flanged one.
How much more trouble is it?

I guess, if you wanted to, you could back to back them and make a center flanged peice and bolt together.

I want 4

There's seven ...can I put you down for the rest db????...one for each Bowser you have??

It would make a sweet decal too

I have some of Vintage Concept's repro porcelain signs. They're really nice. Give them a shot! I'd buy one of the Bowsers!
