I am starting to paint the office the lovely light pea green that I remember seeing in gas stations as a kid. Here's my problem: I used refrigeration freezer panels for the lower walls around the station because they matched the old single steel walls very well plus we work in the shop and need insulation. Any way some panels were new and never had the plastic protective coating pulled of and now it only pulls off in small flakes. Does any one know how to quickly remove the plastice coating FAST? or could I take a wire wheel to it to get the loose stuff off then paint. Would I regret it later

I tried stripper but it didnt have much of an effect. I like the sounds of the heat gun and will try it.
