That is Matt Alvarez's head, for his #34 Tokheim. Had to be totally disassembled, just to get to the damaged(wore out)gear brake thing on the reset shaft.
It had to have another set of wheels.
A new linkage keeper....the marked black circle in the center of the reset linkage on the side below the spring. That requires the hole to be reamed out in the head frame and a flanged bushing glued in. Another wheel shaft, which requires softening a newer shaft with heat and drill 2 new holes because the old ones like this function in reverse compared to the longer 12" computers, so the newer shafts have to be "flipped" to work in the older computers.
The face screw holes were so corroded on one side they had to be tapped to a 10-32

Joe, You actually disassembled Matt's head? I think that's what I need, my wife is always telling me I'm a little off.

YEP... I am a drain surgeon by day and work on heads at night. Copied his Bell Unit too Hardest Veeder Root bell unit to find.... #1Most are rotted away with the metal and fall out the pump. I copied it as exact as I could. Finished assembling it today It's going on MY 1932 MODEL I guess I am the only one who has a computer collection. Veeder Root made 4 models of cranback in 1935

The tire table is unique! I like it. Nice job. Just wondering if it is a little top heavy and does the tire rotate like a lazy susan? Tire Table does not rotate, and it is not top heavy at all I think if it would have been taller like a High Top Bar table it would have probably been top heavy.
