THANKS TO ALL, I'm B A C K.
Nurses said everyone likes Wed. Nite SPECIAL, everyone gets a SUPPOSITORY.
I got my walking papers Before that happened! LOL

Tuesday after finishing a small job, I had an appointment for a Blood Pressure test @ DR. office. They got excited with a low top count & rushed me to ER by 911 [ambulance 100ft !]. Did some test & wanted more test on heart, so I was transferred by ambulance [again] 15 miles to a larger Hospital after waiting 6hrs for an opening. After flushing my system overnight I got the tests around noon, then got the results @ 5:30pm. WHOOHOO, not my heart or lungs. Still waiting on some other tests.
Dehydration & lack of Fuel [food] can cause serious problems to anyone & rack up some high Medical bills.
Thanks
db

Db tell us the whole truth! Like me, I'm sure the doctors told you they couldn't find a real heart in your chest. Instead they found a broken down Timex that doesn't keep correct time. I'm glad you're back. Stay off roofs for a short time and at least look at water. You don't have to drink it, but at least look at a glass once in a while.

Most of the time I felt they were looking for my Billfold instead of looking for a Medical Problem !
Takes longer to setup for a test, than what the test takes.

I know Dick will hate this but can anyone think of a way we can set up a fund to help with medical bills...there is no insurance. Maybe we can get Obama to pitch in some stimulus money and we know that won't happen. I'm leaving on Wed for 30 days otherwise I'd head this up. I'll start with $100 and if someone will take this on and post an address I'll get a check off and hope more of you can as well

I know exactly what it is like to have no insurance...
It ain't much but you can put me down for $25.00 to help the "ol buzzard.
The way things are going it looks like something like this will be needed in the future.

They have been discussing health care for over 35 years now,
If the two branches of GOV would work together instead of
constantly bickering and trying to make each other out as
the bad guys they might get something done.

I had something like this happen about 10 years ago when I was unemployed, I got sick and had no health insurance. The bills were stacking up fast so I went to the finance department at the hospital and talked to them. They were able to help reduce the bills by about 60% since I was paying for them myself. Then they referred me to a county fund through our local fire department they were able to help with about 75% of the remaining 40% that was still due to the hospital. I was able to make payments on the remaining balance to the hospital for a year. Dick you might want to contact the hospital and talk to them about not having insurance and being unemployed, I'm sure they will be able to help.

THANKS
The hospital did send a finance person in before I left & mentioned a reduced payback for the bills. Paper work is in the mail.

Because they don't have to do all the Extra paper work [on both ends].
Some victims of Katrina are still waiting/fighting the insurance companies.
When you rebuild a VR, if it takes the customer 1yr to pay do you charge him the same as someone that pays on completion ?

If it took a year for someone to pay me for a rebuild, I would be charging too much. wink....I understand what you mean though.
When we got our influx of Katrina "victims" crime, panhandling & murders went up.
Most were set up w/ grafa houses that were instantly trashed....NEW HOUSES!!!!!
When THAT sewer backed up it spewed S**T all over the country. Hate to say it but it did!!!!!!

Hey db, if you could use some cash and do not want any donations I could use a leaf off your visigauge tree. Also how much are your VR decals, I could use some. Joe just finished a VR for me. I need both of the ones you make.

Was it with you Matt that I had discussed what sheetmetal took the decals and which had the aluminum plate for side totalizer???
1935 & above = aluminum plate.
1932-1934 = decal
Before DB's decal...

After DB'S decal

Matt.....Yours being a #34 it should have both.
