Tara and I made a few neat finds over the weekend. First, a Mid-Continent bulk can, different from the other one I have. This one is from Columbian Tank Co., and has a screw-on lid. Tara got this unusual italic-lettered version of the Sinclair H-C globe: We also found a cool National A-(1? 38?) ad glass: Last week, I finally stopped and checked on an old used car lot sign I'd been eyeballing. It paid off, as not only was it for sale, but the owner even took it down for me! It has a mechanical sequencer inside. I figured out the flashing pattern that it's set up for, and made this animation to illustrate it:

...Thermactor...your Marathon ad glass is for an A-38...there was another single lens at this year's Fall Dixie Gas, maybe you could track it down...
...Doc...the Poster Annual you have was issued in one form or another every year from 1925 to sometime in the 1960's (not sure, never seen a good checklist), omitting 1943 & 1944...I've been collecting them for 15 years, and need five or six of them to have them all...they're pretty cool...
Looking for better Gulf items: signs, globes, cans and paper - especially porcelain Gulf flanges, and Gulf A-38 & A-62 ad glass...

Maybe you'll get lucky & get 2 Beaters. ...the tough part is going to be finding the tops...but as most rough A-38's are rusted out on the bottoms of the side panels, he probably could 'marry' his bottom piece with one rusted-out side to make a complete side...

Drove 360 mile round trip to Hershey. I found nothing affordable. Found these on my way home within two miles of my house.

This is my "small" haul from Hershey. The Packard was the find of the day for me. Always get beat on the nice one's on Ebay and this one has a complete interior as well. The Tung Sol is a very nice piece as well and is an upgrade. The Hi-Lite was an awesome find even though condition was not what I wish it was.....these are tough to find. I thought the Goodyear mica was cool so that was a bonus.
