I'm trying to find the plastic red flame that was mounted on top of the 18 foot porcelain oval Standard sign. The sign can be viewed on page 66 in the book Gas Station Memories. Also any idea as to the approx year this sign was introduced? Not sure if they mean this sign when it states 1948.

Many thanks for the link to this item on ebay. I was also wondering if reproduction Standard flame globes were produced and available anywhere. This NOS globe appears to nice to mount outside 18ft up on top of the sign unless its the only option. Thanks again
