OP John Larcombe Member J Joined: Mar 2001 Posts: 2 Blenheim New Zealand	Recently aquired WW2 petrol can dated 1943. On one side the letters USA are embosed and on the other the letters QMC. Can someone identify what QMC stands for?

While they supplied the can, the Corp of Engineers (Petroleum Companies) supplied the gasoline. Author, 1st & 2nd editions of Gas Pump ID book, 3rd edition is now available at www.gaspumpbible.com Air Meter ID book also available
