Just bought this at the yard sale yesterday. I don't think 5$ was to much laugh

Yea, When I first started collecting I spent all my weekends up there riding the backroads, :), didn't get it all though, Keep looking and advertising, It will show up

Doc;
Remember the question about the dots and the Arrow pointing down on this can?

This can shows how it was used for imprinting the contents.
They got the Detergency (never heard of it being called that before) off center on the stencil.

Invader Motor oil produced by the plowman company in Garden City LI was not allowed to sell outside of NY and I believe NJ as part of the deal they cut when they purchased the brand. Logos, can design's and the such were the same as the one's produced in PA.
