Greg.......the lip around the back makes it look original however the printing looks very poor...the lines on the top letters are not very sraight & not a very good job....i am not into toppers so i can't tell you....i would be careful & do your homework....its a great topper if real.....good luck

That topper has the correct address for the Red Head Gas Station at 3060 Monroe St Toledo,Ohio. But Monroe Street was mis-spelled...

So I would think it would be real.

Later on that station was a Hy-Flash Gas station(1949-1955). I have a picture of it has a Hy-Flash Gas station. grin

If my memory serves me correctly I believe the same seller had the Pep Boys topper that sold awhile back. Coincidence???? In my opinion they both just didn't quite look right.
