I am in the process of restoring a Gilbarco model 86. I have finally decided to restore it to a Gulf Color Scheme. I understand that the paint codes listed in the Gas Pump Restoration Book are difficult for paint shops to work with. Does any one have codes for Gulf Blue and Orange? Thanks for any assistance.

These color codes were given to me last year after a discussion here at this forum. They were used restoring a Tokheim 36 to Good Gulf. I was told they were very close and I also received a picture of the pump - IMHO it looked very good. Have your paint shop spray a test and see how you like them. PPG 60518 (orange), PPG 14718 (Blue).
regards,
Claes
