My wife just recieved one of the chevron cars. It is a 2006 breast cancer awareness model. Any help on it's value would be appreciated. The car is in the blister pack and is mint. Thanks for your help.

Would imagine any value it had dissipated with the making of 500,000+/-.
Remember the Beanie Babies ? A well known globe collector paid over $1,000.00 for one, ask him what it's worth today. I'll bet he still wishes he had bought a few common globes w/ the money !

Thats about all they bring George. The people that collect them, are trying to complete the entire set. Some of the early ones bring a few more bucks. and there are also a few others that command a higher sale price, the School bus being one.

I think that Bruzer has a colection of these cars, maybe he has a bit of input here.

Did I hear Chevron?
This is just my opinion but most of the Chevron cars have not jumped in value. So far I have been able to build the collection at face value or below. Even for some of the more valuable cars I have found at yard sales in the package for $5. On ebay you'll see some of the cars bring over $10 but on the other side is the cars that only get a $.99 bid. For example Travis Tanker (Very desirable $19.99 face value). I have seen an ebay action go for $7.99 and other cars were with him. But I have seen him go for over $30 alone.
They are fun to collect but they made so many they are not a good investment right now. If you can get between $5 and $10 that is the value I would say. Once again that is my opinion. Hopefully the picture of your car pulls up. 2006 Promise
