Well i have been wanting on of these and since it is sitting next to the gas stuff i felt as though i should post it. LOL It is a 1966 chevy 2 Nova. I have the front end for it. It bought it without motor and trans. It was a 283 car with 3 speed... It will be a 327 4 speed car... someday.
Looking for anything from Hoosier Pete, Platolene 500 and Red Bird.

Just make sure that Texaco banjo sign doesn't fall over on it! Nice job of making it fit in your garage.

Right on!!
I used to live with a girl that wanted a 66 or 66 Nova like really bad. Her ex had a 442 and she would bracket race it the odd time.
You could find her other nice cars but NOOOO, had to be a Nova!!
Finally she found one, built motor gobs of chrome on the front suspension and under the hood. Ran pretty good too, and she got to race it a bit!
Too bad she died with in 2 yrs 9or less) of getting her dream car, she was only 31 or 32...
But she got her Nova .. and loved it!!
Another cool thing she worked for a petro service shop, before I was into Gas-n-Oil.
The owner had pumps , visibles and stuff, then one day the fibreglass place in the same complex had a fire, it all burned!! Asked later when I realized I liked the stuff and he said all the burnt stuff went to the dump or scrap!!! Man, I would have loved to get the burnt stuff!!.........

Looking good JJ can't wait to see the progress. Don't let those globes fall off on the car and break. LOL. I haven't jabbed you in so long and couldn't pass it up. Remember when we were at the Columbia show last winter and that globe broke down the isle behind us and we both looked at each other. The look on your face was priceless.
Bill I love the wagon BIGTIME.............

Yes Scott, I remember that globe breaking. I felt as though everyone in there looked at me. LOL Thanks guys for the comments. It will be a while before I start it... I want to gather all the parts like motor, trans, bellhousing, front seats and some small stuff. LOL
I do have both glass cylinders for the visibles that are behind the car... I just took them out when I finished out the barn. I was afraid they might get broken moving them around and caring 4x8 sheets of wood near them or shoving a piece of conduit through one.
Looking for anything from Hoosier Pete, Platolene 500 and Red Bird.

Brandon, My brother is telling me to build a 406 for it and just put 327 stickers on it. It's not going to be numbers matching but i thought a 327 would have more value to it than a 350 or 400. It will be a 4 speed on the floor. I want the car to be stock looking... from rally wheels and red line tires and bench seat but run like a striped ace ape? LOL
I have a guy that is going to sell me a 1968 327 complete for $300 and i am getting a hood and bellhousing for free. I hope to get one of my buddies muncie 4 speeds... he said if i really needed one he could hook me up. Moving right along! LOL
Looking for anything from Hoosier Pete, Platolene 500 and Red Bird.

Go with the 327, great motors and a great bang for the buck. Seems anytime I went bigblock the spending never ended.
Nice car, would look good in SS trim.

John,
Cool go cart too!! When I was a kid we had to build our own out of scrap lumber. Kids today have it made.
