Since i'm new here all I have to say is I fell into this sign! Here go's while camping up in Wi. last summer, and my friend went golfing, I was going to go into town to check out the antique shops.Well it turned out he took both sets of car keys to both cars so I was stuck!
So I go to take a shower that they had outdoors, and I walk past this bbq.I look down, and holy cow!! I later tell the owner that I'm calling the cops because of 'abuse of a sign'![as opposed to 'signs of abuse!' He says "oh that's been covering up my septic tank hole" why "do you want it?" ah, hell yes!! So he gives it to me and even brings it down to Ill a few weeks later. On the way, he stops at a auction house to get something for his son. They tell him what it's worth and wants to buy it!! He go's " Im giving it to my friend, thats the deal!! He wouldn't still take any cash! so I gave him a bunch of diamond plate metal [I work for a metal company!] There are still good folks out there!! This is like my 'barn find' that I always read about on the hotrod sites!

I once found a later 6' SIGNAL sign. It might as well have been free, I bought it then later gave it away !

Of coarse you know what is going to happen now. He is going to take that diamond plate steel and cover the septic tank. Someone from the Diamond Steel Website will be walking by and say, "Holy Cow!" He'll end up giving the diamond plate away and pick up one of those plastic gas signs that was found in the trash and ........
