I have found a Gilbarco 914 double gas pump. The pump is fairly complete except the door on one side. How hard are these to come buy or have someone fabricate two doors into one. Also the pump can be bought for around $500 is it worth that?

I would also like to know the real value and rarity of this pump because I can buy a complete clean original for around $500 to.

Lots of guys are paying $350+ for singles, so IF it trips your trigger jump on it.

500 for a complete double is more than worth it. I think it's going to be hard to find another door if your missing one. Just my opion. Richard

Brad, it is worth the $500 if you can get it for that. The door fabrication is easier than it looks especially since it has one door for you to get the dimensions off of. Go for it.
Thanks, Phil _________________________________________________ Looking for any old pumps, or nice 5 gallon cans.

More than worth it... I know a guy with 2 that he's asking $1100 a piece for. I paid $800 for mine about 2 years ago, nice and clean complete original. Saw one at Hershey for $1400 last year, which I thought was a bit steep, but it's Hershey. Just not a whole lot of doubles out there of any type...
