What years and where was Polly distributed in? I have a Fry 117R with all brass rods, nozzle, markers etc and thought branding it jet gloss black would make all that really pop but wanted to keep somewhat in the time frame of the brand. Thanks from the "guy who knows less than most have forgotten" All credit for the above paraphrased statement goes to friendly Dick Bennett.

Polly was first distributed in the late 20's early 30's
by Wilshire Oil Company on the west coast.
Wilshire was based in Los Angeles.
Wilshire was bought out by Gulf Oil in 1957.

Thanks for the info. I shouldn't be to far off if I brand the 20's Fry Polly then. Cool
