I don't know what/where their intended purpose was,but looking to purchase one,two or three of these for a display.
I think they are coin banks originally?
The oil brand on the can doesn't matter.
It measures roughly 7" high.

Some were made as coin banks & others were made as ash trays. Most are 2 14" dia.

Hi, Rick. I've got a Mobil Oil one of these available. I'll email you some pictures tomorrow.

I've also seen this exact same set-up with red, white or blue "paint" pouring out of the can (obviously promoting a particular line of house paint). John in Wisconsin
