Coops those scripts are awesome!!Are the tops slightly different color from the rest of the pumps,I'm curious if they painted the tops at a different plant or something?

Good eye Joe, yes the tops were repainted. Parts of the tops had primer on them so I did a quick rattle can job when I first got the pumps. When I do the clean up this summer I'm going to repaint the tops the correct color. Good looking pumps Hotrod. I saw that Phillips 66 when you first got it and what a difference a day of cleaning makes.

Frank, very nice. I love the red porcelain pumps. Have you ever seen a station-lighter on an A-62?

OK cool.I wasn't nitpicking just curious if they built them at different plants.Let me geuss the tops had yellow primer showing through. The scripts I've found had the top paint burned off with the same yellow primer they used on the inside frame and pump internals.Either way they look great.

I purchased these about 12 years ago out near Victorville, Ca. At that time I thought the price of $500 each was way over the top but my wife and I loved the patina and old look. Brought them home and built the cement base, added the station light and have loved them ever since.

Looking good Ray, unrestored pumps are looking better than ever to me. Sometimes I grab some beer and go out in the garage and look at them and wished they could talk. After enough beer I swear they do lol. ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;Ron

The Shell pump is a Bennett 646 that has been shortened, but it is still pretty nice....even though it is a little coated over with diesel fuel residue. Please excuse the ground clutter...Dale
I went through Basics and AIT at that base smile
