My dad has 2 gas pumps he is interested in the value (approximate of course) for these. We are new to this and have NO idea what we are doing :-)
I unfortunately only have a picture of one of them...(and it is terrible quality)
The first is a Tokheim Gas Pump Model 871, it has all the original paint and as you can see from the picture the glass attachment on the left is slightly rusted, but in great condition otherwise...

The second one is the one I dont have a picture of. It is a Bennett model 966-m-400 it is a little more rusted, is silver and still in fairly good condition but could use some touch up...

ANY help in this matter would be greatly appreciated!

If the pump shown was mine I would be tempted to leave it alone. That is a nice looking pump and that original paint looks nice. Just my two-cents.

The Tokheim 871 was used from 1935-1938 by the Gulf Refining Co. The book puts value on it at $1200. I would also leave it as is as it looks great as it sits. The Bennett 966 was used from 1954-1956 I would put value on it at $350-$400 in todays market smile

The Gulf pump may have porcelain panels as most I have seen had. A good cleaning and this is a sweet looking pump. Should be worth a little more.
Tom.

Would like to see better pictures of both pumps, if possible. If having trouble posting pictures, some one on here can post them for you, If you email them, but I'm not good at that yet.

Thanks, I am actually 7 hours away from where the pumps are (at my parents house), this picture was sent to me by my sister from her phone. I am going to get her to take full good pictures all the way around both pumps this week, and I will post as soon as I can get them.
