I talked to a guy the other day that has several visibles, that aren't for sale, when he showed me a tall 39 clockface. I've searched here and can find only one referance to that pump. Was it a conversion that someone has done, or did Tokheim actually manufacture them? ID tag had 3-41 on it that I'm guessing is the build date?

More than likely it's REAL.
39-DP, made from 1938-1958 book value $800 +/-

Commercial/farm pumps could be sold cheaper w/o a Veeder Root.

Seems like I remember someone posting a picture of one here but can't remember how long ago. I like the 39s.

The one and only pic I could find was from the BOTW thread from Feb4-11 of 2008.

I also have one. The ID tag says 39 DP serial # 810786 with date of manufacture 1 -39. Might be my pump in BOTW as that's about when I got it. Just looked up the photo and that was indeed my pump.

Your not looking in the right place for a picture of the pump.

It is shown on page 290 of my first Gas Pump ID book (2002).
It is shown on page 285 of my second Gas Pump ID book (2008).
It is shown on my website: http://www.petrolianacollectibles.com/tokheim%2039-dp.htm

My Gas Pump ID book is available right here on this website.

Jack, you ARE the salesman, lol. Actually, I have your book on order through Jim/the website. I saw a recent post where you told someone you presently did not have them and suggested Jim, so I ordered one through here.
I'm hoping your book also shows the Tok 876 I have, or what you've guys told me is probably an 876. It doesn't look quite like other 876's I've seen, sort of a cheaper version maybe....no vert chrome strips and a square hinged door under each face glass.
Oh, and I hope it shows a nice detailed picture of my Southwest OK7 that I bought as a basket case, all apart, and no directions as to how it goes back together, lol
Sincerly, Louis
