One day I saw a parts lot of A-1 parts on ebay. I needed one of the parts so I won the lot. Bought more parts here and there. Then decided to try and build a pump. Thanks to some oldgassers I have another A-1. Just need to make doors and a few other small parts.

Matt,
I've got a pair of doors that need some body work. Email me if interested.
Thanks,
Rod

Those are all nice looking pumps. At least you had a couple others to look at while building that one. So how did you do money wise putting one together piece by piece compared to buying one at market value? I know I have talked to other guys that said they could make more money parting some pumps out than they could selling it as a whole. Just curious, I'm doing the same thing with a Wayne 60.

Matt,
You have a great looking collection of pumps!
I think I recognize that green hose outlet cover.

I would like to do this one in Shell. I talked to Mike Slama and he may be willing to do the ad glass. if not I might try a decal on cleare glass or use Slamas Sunset ad glass. If anyone else is interested in Shell ad glass let Mike know. He may be more willing to do them if more people were interested.

Price on this was about the same as a complete one because some of the parts were cheap.
