I am looking for Oil Company and service station, potholders. Yes, potholders. They are small, light and (hopefully) inexpensive, LOL.

Here are what I have so far, so if you have one thrown in a corner or tucked away in a closet or box, think about me. grin

I'm paying enough Dr's bills, that I need to collect "cheap" items. Plus, think cans and globes are hard to find? Imagine how many "giveaway" potholders survived American housewives and bachelors of the 40s,50s and 60s? If only the AMOCO 'holder could tell of the "horrors" it had to survive, LOL.

I was given the Texaco potholder by Doug (BlackTee) and noticed them in one of my Texaco Collector's Guides. I know that a number of stations and Oil Companies handed them out, just not sure that many survived days/weeks/months and years of use?

Bob,
I have a Marathon one that I will send you when I find it, used to have a stack of them, but sold them all but one. I saw it somewhere a few weeks ago.
