There was a guy who ran the Chevron Station in our town.
He was mostly a mechanic who sold gas as kind of a sideline.
His slogan was. "A hoist to fit all cars. A price to fit all pockets."
He never really cared much for he Chevron BigWigs and they pretty much left him alone as it was a very small station in a small town.
I did get a mostly mint porcelain "CLEAN RESTROOMS" flange sign from him cause they made him take it down as his restrooms never did quite qualify.
