Hi. Does anyone have information on the United Motors oval signs that may have been reproduced in the past? It would be great to know the size of what was reproduced, and if the reproductions were single-sided or double-sided.

I've included a photo of the style of United Motors sign I'm asking about. PLEASE NOTE: I'm NOT inquiring if the sign I've pictured is a repro. This is simply a photo I lifted from the internet to show folks here the design of the United Motors signs in question.

Thanks for any comments. John

John , I have always wanted a correct size double sided porcilin remake of this sign as well, I could never afford the real deal. I have seen some repops but they always seemed to small, VC signs make High quality remakes, maybe they have already done this one at one time?

I have a single sided repro that measures 11" x 16 1/2". These are available from Vic's.
I have also seen a Plastic repro that is a lot bigger and formed to give a 3D look and has white neon around the outside border.

Thanks for the comments, Guys. KZ1000, I know there is an ORIGINAL United Motors sign size that measures 28" high x 48" wide. I was worried there might be past reproductions that are close to this size....which is what you are indicating.

I'd appreciate any further info anyone might have about the larger size United Motors oval reproduction signs that were made. Exact size, if possible, and whether or not these repros were single- or double-sided. I'm trying to help a buddy who is not online. Thank you, again. John

Thanks, Jack. That 48" size is good to know, as far as a "real" United Motors sign goes. John
