I was traveling home from Minneapolis last weekend when I spotted this large transport truck with a well known name emblazoned across the back! I thought it was rather cool, even though theres probably no relationship with Old Gasser Joe Yocom! There ya go JOE! Your own Oil Company!!! I was driving in 4 lanes of heavy traffic and my wife was nice enough to take the picture for me! Enjoy!!

Ed you cheated, you read the side of the truck... Diesel Fuels * Heating Oils * Gasoline I have a brother-in-law that drives one of these in Madision, WI. for Jacobus. He does Fleet Service, fills dozers, front end loaders, road graders, (that's Maintainers, for the Texas folks) and such. Chuck

Cool.... I am related to the YOCUMs Sometime in the late 1600s ...my 10th greatgranfather had 10 children.. 5 went on to spell it YOCOM and 5 went on to spell it YOCUM....I have no idea why. There are several YOCUM BROS TOBBACCO tins out there, I am related to them too.
....Everybody butchers it anyway..... I get checks for YOKUM YOCUM YOCOM...you name it....my teachers in school couldn't get it right either. Thanks for posting the pic.

There are "Rules" that allow tankers with multiple compartments (like the one pictured) to haul Diesel, Kerosene, Heating oil, with a 1203 placard.
There is also a New Law coming soon that will require fuel transports to have a seperate placard for each compartment. 4 compartments, 4 placards, on each side and a Flammable placard on the front and rear bulkhead.
