Question concerning the European Gasoline dispensers: In another thread with someone wanting info on a French???? or English Pump, I was wondering if anyone out there has a working knowledge as to exactly how these things worked. It's said that there were two cylinders that held a Quart ?? I would have surmised a litre. Why was this ? were these pumps before the American pumps that seem to have come after these pumps were manufactured?
Also I have seen pictures of the Fry "Super Twin" how similar was this dispenser? how many of these were if any made . Ed Shaver
