Don Raleigh has found a GOOD way of decreasing his TRASH ! ! LOL Just received a BOX from him. To take up space in the box, There was an EMPTY MILK JUG, ICE TEA JUG, WATER BOTTLES, NEWSPAPER, GIFT WRAP, GROCERY SACKS & 2 EMPTY QT CANS !. "I go through piles of bottles- trash- wrapping paper etc this way- glad the qts made it OK- thanks don" HA HA
I use ALOT of plywood & sheating @ work, so for me it is EASIER to make a WOOD BOX than to find the right size. A couple of yrs ago, I shipped a glass cylinder in a USED metal TRASH can.

Dick:
I've bought serveral cans from Don... Never seen his house trash in my shipments. Always nice cans well packaged. Maybe you're on his s... list? Just a thought friend ?
Now who's rolling on the floor? I couldn't help myself.

...I, too, have gotten the recycling bin included with cans from Don...but, do you know what? I've never had any damage occur to anything I've gotten in the mail from him!...so he must be doing something right!! See you at Columbus, Don!!
Looking for better Gulf items: signs, globes, cans and paper - especially porcelain Gulf flanges, and Gulf A-38 & A-62 ad glass...

Hmm... If you hear a dull plop when you invert one of Dick's relidded cans, you know what happened...
I actually recycle every shred of packing material that I can, as well. Treehuggerism is not my primary motivation, though it is a noble cause. What makes me do it is the insane cost of bubble wrap...
