well just spent a few hours with judy and joe.judy is "maps for the memories."had a good time and also learned a bit about maps. heres one that is kind of interesting and i thought you might like to see it. it is a map of oil wells in texas and oklahoma.one side shows color, and has codes on the side showing i guess the period that the oil in that area was formed, words like jurrassic, etc.
other side has some cool pics of wels, sorry cant get a great pic,and also mentions a bunch of rags to riches stories about guys who bought property cheap and its now(then)worth oodles of money. anybody ever seen anything like this before and have any info on them?age, used for ? might have to frame this and hang it up. thanks mick

"Come and listen to a story about a man named Jed
A poor mountaineer, barely kept his family fed,
Then one day he was shootin at some food,
And up through the ground came a bubblin crude.

Oil that is, black gold, Texas tea."
