Its taken me several years to redo it, but I wanted to show off my Tokheim 39 pump. Its a 1947 Tokheim 39 LHR or Lowboy with internal hose reel. The first picture is as I got it.

I let my wife pick the brand. She likes horses, so she picked Mobil. So now its a Mobilgas Special pump

I removed the hose reel and pump mechanism. In their place, I installed a small TV and cable box.

We reworked the back room in our house in a 50's gas station/diner theme. Its not quite done, but getting there.

I have an Eco Islander that I hope to restore soon and it will go to the left of the pump. Coke cooler is a reproduction.

The ceiling in the room has a Fiberstars fiber optic star kit. I painted the ceiling black with some accent colors, trying to make it look like a nighttime sky. The pictures don't show it too well, but it gives a unique appearance to the room.

I made a valence around the room using powdercoated aluminum and polished stainless steel. When the star lights come on, an electro luminescent wire glows giving the appearance of neon lighting.

We also have a Wurlitzer jukebox and coin scale in the room.

I still have to install a stainless countertop and get the Islander done, but I'm pretty happy with the room so far.

Finally got the covers done for the Eco Islander, so it's done!

I had one (I think) original Eco hose. The label is worn but is still there.

I also had two of the compression style hose ends, so I was able to use them.

Here is the room now. Replaced the table with this bar setup. Had the barstool parts powder coated.

Another view

Coin operated pay phone in corner. It worked when I had home phone service!

Gas station wall, wouldn't mind adding an oil rack later.

This picture didn't turn out very well, but I have a Wurlitzer jukebox.

Right side of the jukebox, my Coke bottle collection.

Left side, period postcards with coin operated stamp machine, hard to see but I have 4c First Class & 7c Air Mail stamps displayed.
"Revenge of the Creature" was partially filmed where I live, glass jar holds "Atomic Fire Balls".

And a couple with the "neon" lights.

Thanks for letting me share it!
