I have this fetish for buying descent "Contains Lead" porcelain signs. If anyone on EBAY offers more than 3 or 4 at a pop, chances are I am the guy that wins them. I am paranoid that when I start restoring one of my pumps, that'll be the only part that I'll come up short on. I equate my sickness to the same sickness my wife has, many many pairs of shoes. I own 4 pair and my wife owns 400 pair, same sickness, different hobby. I promise you I could wallpaper the Pentagon with the "Contains Lead" signs I own. Well, I've got to go now, I must go to EBAY and bid on some more of these signs. TAKE CARE! gas pump freak

gas pump, I have about 40 or 50 original contains lead signs, we remove them from every pump that we do and put on new ones, I was looking through the junk shelves at the shop and there was a stack that must have been 8 to 10 inches high.

My sickness? Collecting the gas pumps. I must have about 85 or so now and they are spread out in three different locations.

I,LIKE TED, COLLECT SIGNS, GLOBES AND GAS PUMPS AND THERE IS NOTHING WEIRD ABOUT THIS. WE ALL KNOW FOR SURE THAT THIS IS NORMAL. I HAVE BEEN COLLECTING ADVERTISING MATCH BOOKS SINCE THE THIRD GRADE.PHILLIPS 66 WAS STILL ORANGE AND BLACK. I HAD FRIENDS THAT ALSO PICKED THEM UP FOR ME AND LATER PEOPLE GAVE ME THEIR COLLECTIONS.I HAVE THEM IN JARS,CARDBOARD BOXS AND SHOE BOXS. I STILL PICK THEM UP TODAY WHEN AVAILABLE.WHY? I DON'T HAVE A CLUE,OLD HABIT I GUESS.
