UP UNTIL THE MID-80'S THERE WAS A LOCAL HEATING AND OIL COMPANY ON LONG ISLAND CALLED COMMANDER. THEY HAD THESE SIMILAR LIFE-SIZED SHEPHERDS ON THE CABS OF THEIR TRUCKS AND VANS.
