I finally found and bought my first gas pump.
The ID plate in the box of parts says it's a Bowser 585B. The stock number is 2512451. My biggest problem is finding any info on the "B" model. It looks like the "C" model pics I find. Does anybody sell a parts manual for a "B" model?
It is about 75% done; it is already painted and has a handle and hose. It appears to have been originally a Phillips 66 pump, I will post pics later.
Any pics of a restored Bowser 585B pump or parts, or any info on parts for sale, age, etc. would be greatly appreciated. THANKS!

Welcome. Not positive but believe the differences might be at the hose return area? Some had "Rol-Way" and some just used a covered outlet where the hose remained exposed. I have a few of these and might be able to help with parts? I'll give it a try anyway. Regards, Paul www.severngaspumps.com

I have a parts manual (this was in the box with the pump when it was delivered new) for both the B & C. I don't have the B on my website, but all the literature I have for the C is on my site.

Email me directly if interested.

Does anyone know if it is actually a "B" or "C"? The first parts I need are better face plates, glass and rubber to hold them in. I have one of the original peices of glass, so I could get some new one made, but what does the rubber look like?

Also by looking at pics online, is there supposed to be an "ad glass" at the top of the face plate? I have 8 very twisted attachment/bolts that look like they hold the ad glass???

Bowser did a confusing thing when it used the number 585 for two different pumps that share very little in external parts. The earlier 585 had a face that is about 13" wide with 3" of metal door on each side. The later "teleview" 585 has a 18" face with 1" of metal door on each side for kind of a wide-screen version. All of the related parts do not interchange yet they have similar model numbers. Be sure when you look for parts, the seller understands which version you have.

Your photos show you have a "teleview" 585.
