Good morning everybody,I haven't been to the Portland Oregon meet in a long time.I have heard that there is lots of good stuff, when is it this year?Is it worth going to? thanks Frank. Idaho..

Hi Frank , i heard someone else other than Mike Slama was putting it on and that it bombed , I'm in the middle of California, an i went up the first 3 years , then it got out of hand , all the good stuff was being bought and sold thursday night in the motels an parking lot, there one on the 18th & 19th of October in San Jose California , Bill Cambell is putting it on , i think this is his 7th year , come on down ,its only 15 hours for you , load up a flat trialer with pumps and all that add glass , pump plates ,

The Portland Swap meet is at the Expo Center. It is huge, but not the show that Dwayne talked about. The 37th meet was in May but they say "Always in April - almost" It will probably will be in April again. You may get some information on the web at if it is up and running. If that doesn't work try

The Portland Gas, Oil and Automobilia Swap Meet was usually in September, but it had been cancelled for this year. This would have been the 11th annual event for this show. The show has come under new management. I'm hoping for the event to be held next year. Your encouragement sent to the organizers could help.
