We had a star station in town for years but was torn down many years ago I just found out where the old pumps are at. Talked to the son of the man that has them. He is trying to get me a price and said they have globes on them. I can't remember what the pumps were. Does anyone know what a star globe is worth?

I maybe able to help you with some information. My dad worked as a seviceman for them in the 1950's. I got into the restoring of gas pumps 8 years ago, i have a orginal ad glass with the correct italics. I just finished restoring a Wayne 70, using Fast Sign to make Vinyl letters the same as the ad glass it really turned out nice. I halso bought a frosted lens glass from webers and put the decals on it, agian it really is cool. I have locate the former President of Star and he even remebered my father.

After five trips I met the man that had the old star pumps. The stars is son told me about are just decals there never were globes. The pumps have been beat up pretty bad but out of two I can make one. They are bennett 756 I think he let me have them for almost scrap price so they will not get junked.
