More pictures added to website, still uncovering more items. Found 75 FULL cases of metal quarts and 5 quart Oil Cans, approx. 6 different brands. These were leftover from when the garage closed back in the early 60's and are being moved for the first time. Many clocks found in 1 of the buses along with many signs stacked behind other stuff.
Auction is Sat. Nov.13th, with Preview on Friday the 12th and Sat. a.m. Check the link for 250 photos

Wow! Wow! Wow! That's a lot of good stuff there. Wish I could attend. I already see more than a few things in there that I want. Too bad there's no online bidding and shipping service available.

Any shipping service thru an auction is usually ridiculous.
PM me with your wants and I can bid for you and take care of the shipping myself, saving you a bundle, Rick

6 hours is nothing to be surrounded by other collectors and Oil cans and signs and maps and bottles and blotters and posters and signs and cans and displays and clocks and pumps and lights and did I say there were cans and signs too.

After looking at all the pictures I was thinking about it. Then I looked at my calender. I'm going away that weekend for my 10th anniversary and it's not to a all day petro auction.

This Auction will be the great Old Fashion, On-Site, walk around auction. No Internet Bidding, No cell phone service, No reserves. REMEMBER those days, Many deals to be had, there is way too much here, It will be worth the trip if your a buyer.

What a great day, Sunny and in the 60's. There was certainly no worries about the economy today at this auction. Prices were very strong on everything from common cans to plastic signs and clean porcelain signs. 6 foot plastic Citgo and Texaco signs selling for $100.+, other plastic signs selling for close to $200. The only complaints I heard were from people saying they can't afford anything early in the auction. As usual prices mellowed out towards the end, but overall People were bidding to own.
By 5 o'clock all was sold and the yard was emptying out fast. A sad end to one mans collection put away for a rainy day.

The auction has been posted for 2 months, and you just now ask that silly question, We didn't miss you anyway, the many Invader items were passed over and tossed in the dumpster, That is still there if you want to go diving for them.
