Its all bolt together and it has been sitting here for around 50 years. It was hauled out of Spokane to a north Spokane Italian community and has sat there with the trees growing up around it. Porcelain-neon I am reading between the lines and am kind if getting the feeling you want to help? I think it would be too high even on a lowboy and it would have to be lifted over power lines to get on a truck. Plus every thing I do is on a very looow budget. I am almost 50 now! Paid $2500.00 for it! was it a good deal or not? Paid $500.00 for the first one. every one thought I was nuts. I mean every one!!

Heck Hillside, I am 46, age is just a number to me. My Dad always said, if you are afraid to get old, you may as well do yourself in now and get it over with. He just turned 80. I guess I don't know your situation out there with moving that shed, but, I moved mine in rather than disassembling it, it is 15 feet to the top and was about 18 feet high on the dollies, we did not have to touch any power lines, luckily.

I suspect you can unbolt the roof and have a crane load it on a lowboy, then have the crane load the walls on the lowboy. A couple hours of crane time to load and a couple more to set it back up at your place will save you a bunch of work.
A guy from Oakland called me several years ago about a similar station he was trying to find a new home for. I believe he was affiliated with a preservation society. Anyway, they sold the station for a dollar. Last I heard from him he had another station available. Anyone that's interested in rescuing a station from the Oakland, CA area send me a PM and I'll give you his contact info.

First, your garage at home looks great. I know how long it can take, I have three years on mine and at least three to go.
How far do you have to move the new project to your place. Its should not be hard to jack the building up and get some beams under the building and sklid it out to a decent road away from the power lines. If its close to your place borrow a large tractor, call yourself a farmer and skid it home. Farmers get away with moving stuff like that all the time.

Thats a heck of a good point about farmers. The trees have grown up around this thing and I am a little worried about ***** the guy off that used to own it. He has had serious sellers regret. I have been busy trying to get the office finished up in the first one and have been very busy with work and play. I think this spring I will start on it. I know it wont be near the project the first one was. I would have to cross 2 major highways and wind around differant roads to get it home. I like the saying "Give the lazyest person the hardest job and he will find the easyest way of doing it" I wilL git it I just havent got serious about it yet

Cut the trees down around it now, wait for the roads to get good and solid and wait for snow. If you pull it home with 1-2" of snow on top of the road you won't damage the road and it will pull like on a big sled.
(Hook something heavy on the back if you go down any hills. Really heavy, personal experiance)

Hillside, Great job, never saw that version of a Suburban!
Where are the pumps? Was it formerly Conoco and Shell? Is that why those signs are on the roof?
Seriously , awesome, very awesome.

I have sold all but my 2 close friends they are a couple of Bennett 541's my favorite model. I believe it was a Richfield station.I hauled it all home on that old 2 ton chevy. I was really sweating it driving by a cop with 15' of gas station hanging off the back of the truck. It came from Ford Washington. I was hooked on this stuff a few years ago and selling all my pumps was part of my therapy as well as learning how to run a business with out loosing my house. The signs are for airplanes that fly over.

Incredible! I don't think I've ever come across an original like that anywhere. I hope they are still around when I'm ready for one.
