just out of curiosity what is that mfa sign worth, it only has the one ding by the m that you can see and those rust streaks will come off real easy. the other side has no dings at all with the same rust streaks,.

The rust streaks might clean off the white but the blue looks pretty weak where the rust streaks are. Removing the rust may damage the sign even more.

Wanted: Gas pump globes:Sinclair & affiliates, IL companies. Ripple bodies. Anything Sinclair, Stoll, Pierce, 4 Bros.

There was an mfa sign like that one on ebay a couple of months ago and I think it sold for around 500 to 600 if I remember right.

Originals only for me. Always looking for Simpson oil, Super A, and MFA oil cans and globes.

One more thing the sign was in southern Missouri and you had to pick it up so it could have affected the price

I ASSUME THAT WAS JUST THE SIGN AND NOT A POLE?

MOST OF MY LARGE SIGNS WERE HAD CHEAP FROM EBAY SIMPLY BECAUSE THEY WERE PICK UP ONLY. THAT RULE DEF NARROWS DOWN YOUR AUDIENCE.

The LION OILS sign version is lot more uncommon than the regular LION version. This is a fairly rare sign. I believe Frankie from Paducah, Ky had one listed on ebay for $1750 not too long ago in a most excellent condition.
