Been offered a mobil gargoyle lamp post that has four gargoyle globe holders. The globes hang upside down and it is all cast iron and ornate by his description anyone ever heard of one of these ? Any idea as to its value ? thanks dave

I have seen them , as far as I can tell they are new and made in Mexico. They look cool I think a place in Vancouver BC sells them...I would love to get single ones for a wall sconce..cool item

Bob: The globes ar not Gargoyle globes, the 'arms' that hold the light globes are shaped like gargoyles. This is a fairly common light pole arrangement. There are some (poor) illustrations on this web site if anyone wants to see what is being discussed.
