I recently purchased a sight glass bezel for my Tokheim 39 as one of mine was missing. When the bezel came there were no mounting instructions, just a big flat ring looked like a big washer. Any idea how this mounts to the pump face?

There are 4 tabs that you bend out, insert into the hole in the faceplate and then bend back. You have to be very carefull as you can not bend them very many times before they break off. Maybe yours already are??

If the tabs are gone, use some silicone caulking on the back, press it into place and let dry.

I purchased this part and there are not tabs, sounds like a good way to mount them I guess I will have to use silicone. Thanks for the advice.

There are 2 types of reproduction Tokheim 39 sight glass bezels made. One has no mounting tabs and uses silicone to hold it in place after the face plate is installed. The second type uses 2 mounting studs on the back the problem with the 2 studs is they are wider than the hole in the face plate and you have to drill or grind the face plate for them to fit and this causes chipping of the porcelain. If you need any help or advice feel free to let me know. Be sure and post pictures when you are done.
