NOT EXACTLY SURE ON THE SEARCH SCIENCE ON FINDING OLD THREADS, BUT ABOUT 4-5 YEARS AGO I HOSTED A SHOWCASE THREAD CALLED MAP OF THE MONTH. DIFFERENT BRANDS SHOWING MAPS THROUGHOUT THE YEARS AND THEIR GRAPHICS. IT'S HOW MY EARLY YEARS OF COLLECTING PETRO STARTED AS WELL....EARLY 80'S.

A REGULAR NON-ADVANCED SEARCH SHOWS ME MOTM #17 THRU #27 ONLY.
WHERE ARE #1-16?

AN ADVANCED SEARCH LOOKING FOR MOTM TOPICS OLDER THAN 3 YEARS GIVES ME NOTHING!

SOMETHING DON'T SOUND RIGHT! HOW FAR BACK DOES THE SEARCH HISTORY GO?

Here is how I have a sampling of my maps displayed.
No tape or anything, just pressure of the back against the maps and glass.
I don't use my best ones either, in case they fade. These are all duplicates.

There was a post about diplaying Maps not too long ago on here.

Not sure what you are looking for, when you say display?

I have my maps all over the house. Not sure if this is what you are looking for, but here are a few of mine.

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

I probably have between 30 or 40 maps displayed in various sized frames.
Like most of those who collect maps, I have more "tucked away" and not displayed than those that are displayed.
