hey guys years ago there was talk about a seaco globe being fantasy but has any one seen one or can post a picture of one i did a google search and this company does exist also if it is fantasy who made it and can you prove it, not hearsay thanks dave

no jim do you remember that globe i showed with a plane on it i got from bulk plant in calif years and years ago i showed it to you at cheeses show when i had my broken hip you said you thought it was real i thinking of selling it, just trying to get some info

I took another look in the 'Pink' book under "List of Known Reproduction Gasoline Globes" - it lists the Seaco thusly:
"Seaco Aviation: Airplane; not dated (circa 1989)"

I guess you could call Scott and ask. The book doesn't say it's a 'fantasy' - it just lists it as being reproduced. So I guess there should be 'some' originals? Right?

thats sort of what im trying decide if it is repo who made it when i had my shop pergl was my supplier and he didnt do it, you werent in business then dont know if lance did them,slama wasnt doing globes then who else was there, scott not always right either if it is repo has any one else seen or owned one ??? thanks dave

I saw one of those at a show years ago, and could not decide real or not either. Maybe it is in the "grey" area like the Salyer's globes. I do remember it had a cool plane on it and was blue and white. Does that sound right?

yes you are correct i got mine and it is a single lens on glass out of a bulk plant in bakersfield calif. 25yrs ago trying to put a value on it as i am thinking about selling it
