Here's a few that just happen to fit in some 2nd-hand frames.

This is how I display my map collection. The single page and 2 pocket page are archival acid/PVC free for long lasting protection.

Well I love maps and have about 1500. I mostly keep them in a dresser:

But since I have about 12 map racks some are in those as well:

But I also have maps scattered around in modern plastic holders:

I wanted to add one more thought to possible display ideas. I wish my house was bigger/better (I gave up a great house for a divorce - and have a hmmmm be nice... smaller getto house (but I got a great wife in exchange) but its mine and not renting. I'll tell you, I just bought a small catalog rack from Bob (lastgas15) for some catalogs but if I had room for a coffee table in my living room I would put some maps and other plastic paged items into one of those huge catalog racks. And these would give another opportunity to have more gas stations items in the house as the older ones have advertising on them such as spark plugs or Hasting items etc. (yes this is a plug for a viable use for all those racks)as some even have what I call a hood and are lighted. I could see the tv & DVD remote on the top of it and being quite a conversation piece. You could put paged maps (like Gary Dyer does), copies of CTO or PCM magazines, Matchbook pages etc. Really has me thinking about getting another one for when I upgrade houses. John
